A studio on Grosvenor Street, not a flagship.

dentxora began as an argument about British menswear that had become either costume or sportswear. We wanted a third register: clothes that belong to the climate, the cities, and the rooms this country still has. The house is based at 124 Grosvenor Street, Manchester, in a brick room with a rail, a table, and northern light that does not flatter anything cheap.

We are an editorial studio. We do not take stockists, and we do not run a basket. What we do is photograph, write, and host conversations about cut, cloth, grooming, and the week. When we recommend a maker, it is because we have stood in the workshop or worn the piece. When we do not know, we say so.

Manchester is the point, not a provincial footnote. The city dresses in weather. It has a tram, a concert hall, courts, universities, and a Northern Quarter that still rewards a coat. London remains in the lookbook because some of the country’s best cutting still happens there. Edinburgh is in it because the wind is honest. The map is the beat.
